ISMDN launches as a global safer-decarbonisation network

A Lloyd's Register Foundation-funded network of nine institutions across eight countries, working to close the safety, technology and regulatory gaps in maritime decarbonisation.

The International Safer Maritime Decarbonisation Network (ISMDN) brings together universities and maritime institutions across eight countries, led by the University of Strathclyde.

Funded by Lloyd's Register Foundation, the network identifies and closes the safety, technology and regulatory gaps tied to low- and zero-carbon fuels such as ammonia, hydrogen and methanol.
