Held on 23 April 2026 at Lloyd's Register HQ in London, the inaugural ISMDN expert workshop brought together 26 participants from across the maritime sector.

The first ISMDN UK Expert Workshop was held on 23 April 2026 at Lloyd's Register headquarters in London.

26 participants from industry, academia and regulation identified and prioritised the cross-cutting research gaps for safer maritime decarbonisation, with leakage, dispersion and fire emerging as an urgent cross-theme priority.
